The IR Receiver Dongle connects to Barix Exstreamer devices via the serial port. The IR Remote Control Kit connects to the serial port of Barix Exstreamer devices. Once it receives the IR signal from a remote control, it is transmitted to the Exstreamer for processing. The Exstreamer supplies the necessary power.
