Barix I/O12

I/O module with RS-485 interface and Modbus/RTU protocol, 12 powered outputs and 12 optically isolated inputs. RS-485 The Barix IO12 is a digital I/O module with a standardized RS-485 serial interface and Modbus/RTU protocol.

It features 12 powered outputs and 12 optically isolated inputs that can be addressed using standard Modbus/RTU commands. The IO12 can be used as a general purpose Modbus I/O device or connected to the Barionet using the Barionet's RS-485 interface and BCL code to implement the Modbus/RTU communications protocol.

• Remote monitoring, switching, calculation and control of digital signals

• 12 solid state outputs (up to 1.5 A and 30V DC)
• Outputs divided into two groups. Each can have an independent output voltage of up to 32 V DC.
• 12 ESD protected, optically isolated inputs in groups of 4 with current limiting
  input current
• RS-485 serial interface (2 wires) under Modbus/RTU protocol
• Two extension connectors, including power supply and RS-485 signals, for easily adding new expansion modules in series
