Barix's Redundix is ​​a technology for improving the quality of an incoming RTP stream using two mechanisms:

• Diversified routing time: Send the same audio stream twice: immediately in encoding and in a time-delayed encoder. At the receiving end, the stream is reassembled, finding lost packets from the main stream, finding them in the delayed transmission delay. This solution addresses the effect of network failures.
• Divergent Routing: Two streams will be sent using separate network interfaces/routing from the encoder to the decoder. Again, the original stream will be reconstituted at the receiver. This solution will take care of problems or even failures in the network infrastructure... to a certain extent.

Barix Redundix consists of dedicated hardware units that can be configured manually or supported by the quiet REFLECTOR service.
